Christmas Eve Heather came over with the boys. It was fun to see them. It's been awhile since I have seen them. It was fun to visit and play.
Christmas has come and gone...already! WOW does time go fast.
Christmas day Derrik, Meagan and Tysen were with us. They got up before Santa even dropped the load. Well, I guess you we kinda slept in."yes"! After we opened gift's we went to Tim and Desis. Tim fixed us all breakfast. I think we just might have to make that a family tradition. I liked that. Jeddy and Ady came down for breakfast and then we all came back to the house.
We had been waiting for Timmy to come and when we got home he had left a message that he had broke down. Man, that boy sure has had some rough Christmas's. I think we are just going to kidnap him before Christmas and not let him go anywhere until after Christmas. He had called his dad and Tim went and got Timmy and brought him down. Then came back and picked him up and took him home. It was nice to have all of our family home for Christmas.
Derrik was so worried about Timmy so when he did finally show up, he was relieved. As you can tell by the pictures, all the family got CAT sweats. I told the kids that we were going to use these pictures for next years Christmas cards. It is so hard to get them all together at one time. So out of all the gifts that we got, I would have to say the best of all is that we had all of our family home for the day.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I have been so blessed this year with so much. To my family out there who has always supported me, in even my bad years. My husband that is so good to me and such a great example to me. My kids who are no longer kids (boy they grow up fast....I will always be so grateful for. They are the reason I am here today. My cute....mischevious...grandchildren who make it all worth while. My neighbors whom I think of as family. To all, I love you tons! I hope your holidays are filled with lots of laughter, love and the sweet spirit of our Heavenly Fathers love.

Seeing (Dad) Santa
Okay, so I had to share this. Tim (Zoee and Evva's dad) plays Santa at Christmas time. Well today Desi had him go to her work to play Santa. I decided that I would take the girls up to see him. We wondered how they would react or if they would even know if it was their dad. We walked in and Santa turned and said hi to the girls and Oh my......Evva was scared to death! I tried sitting next to Santa to see if she would even tell him what she wanted for Christmas.
Nope...that wasn't going to happen so Desi sat down and tried to get her to talk to Santa. That didn't work either.
Okay, so she was pretty traumatized
Zoee did great. She got up and told him what she wanted and everything was just great. She had no clue who it really was.
So the funniest was when Tim came to pick the girls up and Evva told him....."I sat on Santa's lap today" "oh yea? Did you tell him what you wanted for Christmas?" "yep, a barbie"
After the girls had pictures with Santa, one of the girls that Desi works with brought her dogs to sit on Santa's lap. She had them dressed up so cute that I had to take their pictures also

Family Night
We gathered our family together tonight and did gingerbread houses for Family Night. It is always so much fun to get together but I will have to say the more that I try and keep up with moms traditions, the more I learn to appreciate her more and more. What an amazing lady! I love you mom.

Zoee said she was the winner. We didn't know it was a contest but.....she sure did win in the food storage department.

Zoee's Christmas Dance Performance
Zoee had her Christmas dance performence this morning over at Jefferson Elementry. Zoee did so good. After she performed she got to sit on Santa's lap. She asked him for a magic box for Christmas. If anyone out there knows where to get one of those, let me know.

My Christmas tree is finally up. Well most of it anyways. The bottom of the tree has been kid proofed. Evva still stands on her tip toes to see if she can reach the ornaments. Zoee keeps asking me if she can help finish putting up the decorations. Bless her! I keep telling her that I am done. MMmmmm one day she will understand and by then well then I will be able to finish decorating my tree clear to the bottom.
I got both the girls one of those chocolate advent calendars and they love that. Zoee reminds me first thing in the morning. She's going to love Monday when she has to catch up from not being her on Saturday and Sunday. What would the holidays be without these cute children.
