I'm going there someday.....Yep Kelli me too. I start with a title and can turn it into a song too.
Tuesday night we went back up to Temple Square to walk around with the Russell's and Rachel. I do love going there.
This time Robert went with us. Then we went over to the JS building to look down on the Temple. Sorry, the pictures are kind of blurry. I need a lesson in photography.
This week is Homecoming week at Cyprus. It's been a fun week. We started with the Parade on Monday night in down town Magna.
Yep, we have a down town for all of you that are not familiar to Magna.
Today we had our Assembly. We were suppose to march in the parade but just didn't get enough people to do it at the last minute, but we did do the 'lawn chair drill team' at the assembly today. Can you see how we all listened. Yes, we were all suppose to be facing forwards. We just didn't hear the call then....We had to start again. What a crack up!
We finally got it together at the end, I think. MMmmmm
What a fun group of ladies I work with.
Sunny thought that he should have been in there with us. What do you think?
The best part is that we have Friday off. Not that I work very hard but....It's nice not having to go in. Then we have our game tomorrow night against Murray for any of you that would like to go.
One last plug for Darfur.
Tickets are only $5 for our performance on Tuesday night.
What a great night out you will have.
You don't want to miss out on this.

Darfur
We have an amazing teacher at Cyprus High School that is helping the students realize
-They can make a difference-
Last year Mr Adams class did a fund raiser. You may have heard about it in the news. The money was used to purchase a tent that will be displayed on the lawn at the White House in Washington, D.C., later this year before it is sent to a family currently forced to sleep in the forests of Africa.. It is called "The Tent of Hope"
I had not heard too much about it until today. We had an assembly that talked about it. Please take a little time to find out for yourselves what it is all about. It will make you cry knowing that this is going on now, in our time.

Now they are trying to raise enough money to send some of the students to Washington to represent Cyprus High School and Utah.
SO HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Come to our concerts to see these students sing and dance their hearts out for a cause that they believe in. Tickets are 5 dollars and will be sold at the door, or you can pre-order tickets at
(801) 298-1811. Support our students and our cause.
We invite you to attend a charity dance concert, “Dance for Darfur.” Students at Cyprus High, Granger High and Kearns High have all united forces to present a fun filled evening with a deeply profound message. The concert dates are
September 29, 2008 at Granger High at 7:00 PM,
September 30, 2008 at Cyprus High at 7:00 PM and at
Kearns High on October 1, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
All proceeds and donations go to sending students from Cyprus, Granger and Kearns to Washington. Remember “students bring the world peace.”

Dear Anonymous
I got your note tonight as I was walking out the door. I stopped to read it.
It brought tears to my eyes.
1st Because I am so glad that Justin's blog has been a light to you.
2nd Because I wanted to reach out and hug you but you weren't there.
I don't know who you are and that's okay but I do want you to remember that you are a child of God and He loves you very much. You are never alone even when you are down. He is reaching out for you.
I will say a prayer for you tonight in hopes that you will find that breath you need to know that you have many people all around that loves you very much.
Side note:
I think we would all take Justin in as our own. He has touched so many of our lives for good. And just for a second side note, He really does type like a teenager that texts a lot. I try to fix it so those of us that don't text, can read it too.

Which sports car are you?
I'm a Mazda RX-8!
You're sporty, yet practical, and you have a style of your own. You like to have fun, and you like to bring friends along for the ride, but when it comes time for everyday chores, you're willing to do your part.
Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

On my way to the Temple...
I was getting ready to go to the temple and went to go out my front door and look what we got.
Who would do that?

I don't even know where to start. I just remember this kid that hung around with our young men that was just a likable kid. That was like 8 years ago. 3 years ago (September 10th) he was baptised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. And now look what he's done..... His sister Chantal......
Check it out Justin, he has a tie on! Justin's Dad
Sister Havenar and Stormy. I love these ladies! Kay, neither one of you can ever forget me. You have both touched my life in many ways. Stormy played the piano for Sister Havenar as she sang "Window to His Love"
Love that song!
What a great group. Sister Clawson was able to come back for the baptism.
Many prayers have been answered today. Heavenly Father continues to bless us each day.

I lost my focus for a few minutes....
I am...a daughter of my Heavenly Father who loves me! And that makes it all worth it.

If Monday didn't come after Sunday, I think it would be my most favorite day. Shouldn't it go Sunday and then Saturday? Or a Sunday 3 times a week?
I love to go to church and be around all of the great people we have in our ward.
I love the feeling that comes with going to church and learning more about the Savior.
I love not having to worry about shopping, cleaning, errands etc.
It's my day to relax and enjoy.
This last Sunday was especially fun. After church we had the Russell's and the Nouri's join us for dinner. It was a spur of the moment thing that turned out really good. We got the chance to just hang out and visit.
Jed didn't have any meetings today so he hung with us.
No, this is not Evva. Sorry Jen, I just had to post this. You should have seen Ben's eyes when he came down the stairs in Evva's Barbie dress ups
Isn't she cute!
We are so blessed. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for all that he has done for us. He continually blesses us each and every day.
