This is my Quakers. He is my latest baby. The picture above was taken by Ron for his reflection project. He got a blue ribbon for his picture. Good Job Ron!!

Yesterday he graduated with the rest of the Ducks to the farm with all the animals. My baby is growing up. LOL....for Christmas I think I will make him a cute little scarf to keep him warm. :)

Isaihas bapatism

November 3, 2012 Isaiha was baptized. We are so proud of his decision to do that. It was not an easy choice for him. He was sacred to death of the water. When he saw that his mom had come to see him get baptized he decided to do it.

One of the most exciting moments for me is when the bishop told Timmy that he could baptize him and confirm him. That was a huge step for Timmy and if you are a parent, you know the joy it brings to a mom.
He is such a good boy and we are very proud of him.
Love you Isaiha!!

Bailees new do!

It wasn't that long ago that I remember when Evva would cut her hair. The funny thing was everyone loved her hairdo. I tried to do the same with Bailee but I think it needs to be shorter or Desi needs to do it. she always fixed Evvas hair so cute! Anywho....Bailee LOVES her cousins and wants to grow up to be just like them.
I have to laugh at Meagan because she was so sad when Bailee had cut her hair she wanted to cry. She said "This is my pay back for laughing at Desi when Evva cut her own hair".

Oh we have some mischievous little girls that look so innocent.

Where is the summer going?

Time flies. I cant believe that we are in August already. I have been trying to figure out what I have done with my time.
The only new up date on the house would be the carpet in our front room but I think we did that before school got out. I still love it! It sure has made a big difference in the smell of the house. When we pulled up the old carpet it had that rubbery stuff underneath. Ewwww

We spent a week up at the cabin. Oh it was nice.We all needed to just get away. We hiked, fished slept, played games and ate. Oh yea and we did crafts
When we got home from the cabin Jed caught a bunny out in our garden. We walked around the neighborhood to see if it belonged to anyone. Finally some guy said he would take it. We didn't want it eating our garden anymore. Well.....2 days later it showed back up. Derrik and Meagan ran it to the pound and wala....the owner is found after the fact. Yep, sorry Tanessa. She said she didn't care but we still felt bad.
Desi gave Zoee a surprise birthday party that was fun. She said she had no idea. I can't even believe how old she is getting and yet here I am still 28....lol jk
I did take the kids back up to Opher. They like to go up and get rocks. If you have never been up there you should go. Its pretty cool.
I like it to take pictures. This picture will soon be out dated. Yep, one more on the way. Desi is expecting in January. It will be fun to have a baby around again. We are excited.
Besides the 4th the only thing I can think of is, I put up apricots, pickles and soon....tomatoes. Nothing very exciting. Hard to think that I will soon be back to work. I guess I better go have a little more fun before it all comes to an end and the snow begins to fall.

Girls Camp 2012

Ok, so I have a couple of random pictures but I had to add them. This one is so precious. Bailee and Tysen were out side just watching our ducklings.  So cute!

Do you ever think right before camp " I just want it to hurry and get over with" ? Well, I will have to admit that I have had this thought. I just wasn't getting into camp this year. Why? I have no idea. I just wasn't connected....until  LOL I got up there. Yep, LOVED every minute of it.

This is our Iron Chef Man that introduces our special ingredient for our Iron Chef. He did such a good job. He told me that he had a copy right on any pictures that were taken and that he had better not see it on Facebook. He didn't say anything about a blog.....Love ya man!
We had 128 girl this year and they were all just so amazing. Our theme was "Daughter of a King". We were each given a color and a value. The stake was yellow and love. ?? What ever. Red has always been love to me but one of our youth had to add the Beatles into it. You know "we all live in a yellow submarine - All we need is love love - love is all we need"  Don't ask!
Meagan is in Young Womens in our ward and was able to be with us this year thanks to a great "aunty Desi"
I can't even tell you how amazing our Stake President is. YEP, this is him lip-sinking to Carry
Underwoods "Jesus take the wheel".

Our YCL's this year were so amazing too. W cried and cried when camp was ending. We all bonded!

I can't forget Bishop Wheeler. Yep, the bunny. What a sport he is.
Here is Pres. Wardle doing "walk like an Egyptian"  Oh what you have to do when you are in a high calling.
LOL....Pres. Droubay was thinking Wardle was pretty funny. Not sure Wardle thought it was too funny.

There always seems to bee a camp song for the year and this year it was "What can make a Hippopotamus Smile" If you haven't heard it, come on over. I am sure between Meagan, me and the boy's we can teach you. It's pretty dang cute!
All in all I had an amazing time with some amazing people. The spirit was so strong that when it came time for testimonies there was not a single brake. If you wanted to stand you had better run for the front.  I think this was one of the best I have been to. I am sure I say that every year but really, It was truly amazing. How blessed I am to be able to be a part of that. My Heavenly Father really does love me!!

Last but not least:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Meagan. We love you.

Now we have 4 little ducklings. I just cant get enough of watching in amazement this whole process.

The other mother duck came over and started to clean up the dead ducklings. So I guess they take care of everything.
Sorry about the shaky hands.
So I could watch this all day

Ducklings

Yesterday our first little duckling hatched. So Cute! We had fun last night just trying to watch her. It looks like the goats stepped on some of the eggs and we have a few dead ducks. We may still have 4 coming though.

I went out this morning to see the duckling but mom will not let her out, as hard as she was trying. I will wait for a little while and go back out and make sure everyone is ok.
We have a cat close by that is watching the ducks too so we are keeping a close eye on them.

Nature is so amazing!

14 Year Anniversary

14 year Anniversary Getaway

This last weekend Jed and I took off and went to Salt Lake City, Utah. Yep, you read it right. We filled up at Lake Point and when we returned today the gas was just below the full mark. It was so fun!  We left on Friday and checked into the Little America Hotel. Jed had never been to City Creek. (dang the bad luck)!  He always tells me that he would rather have his hand slammed in the car door than go shopping but hey, new mall, little money, who could ask for more.  I think he enjoyed City Creek (not so much the shopping) and then we went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. I had a gift certificate that I got for Christmas so we used that.  And yes we walked.:)

Saturday we got up and walked to the Temple. Had breakfast and then went through a session. What a nice way to start the day. When we got back to the hotel we both decided that we wanted to hike Ensign Peak. Oh wait!
Highlight of our Friday night shopping?
Harmon's! Yep Grocery store.
Penny was right.WOW that is a nice store. Ok back to where I was.
We stopped off at Harmon's for snacks and went and hiked Ensign Peak

No mud this time. Time to take the family back up for family night. It was fun!

We then went to Gateway (another hand slammed in the door) and we go a nice cover for my new ipad Jed got me. I haven't really dared use it for fear I would drop and break it. Now it has a nice cover :) YEP I am spoiled!!

Then we were drawn back to the Salt Lake Temple. We walked around the temple grounds and watched the little video clips and just enjoyed the atmosphere. It was nice to just be together.

After all the walking we had done we needed a nap so we napped ate and went and sat in the hot tub. I could really get use to this.

Sunday we got up and yes of course we went to the breakfast buffet. That was the best part of being at Little America. We ended our little mini trip by going to church over at our old ward in Magna. It is always so nice to visit and of course be with the Jones family.

Heavenly Father must really love me! I could not ask for a better husband!! He is so good to me. I just hope that Jed feels the same. I am so grateful to know that we will be together for eternity. Let see - another 14 years we will be 66.  Here is to another 14 wonderful years with the man of my dreams. I look forward to growing old with him. Happy Anniversary Jed!

So this morning I got a call from my Zoee. She told me she was walking home from the Litnaks and she saw a duck with ducklings following behind. The Duck attacked her. Stupid duck!  Well just to make you feel better Zoee, Tweeter attacks me every time I go in...even to feed them.

I can't take a step without him right there!!  It might have something to do with the baby's. Yep, our ducks are going to have ducklings.
Here are our ducks:
This is Twetter....the male duck and very protective of his lady ducks.

Yes, Karl has to be right in the way. (the goat)

This is our Rose. She has the most white on her chest.
Zoee had to teach me that. I could never tell them apart.

This is our Chloee. She is such a good momma duck
The only time she get's off the nest is to eat, drink water and then
she is right back to the nest. We have 9 duck eggs and yes
1 chicken egg got in somehow. I asked Jed if we could get a
mix between a Duck and a Chicken. He asked me if I had
ever learned about the Birds and the Bee's. WHAT?
No one taught me anything about how the birds or the bees
do it. I'm not sure I want to learn.

The chickens had to get in on the pictures. They were out strutting their stuff.

And of course the Goats. They are always in the middle of everything.
I hope you aren't afraid of Duck's Zoee. They would miss their #1 Mom.

Starting again...

It has been such a long time since I have blogged but I really want to start back up. It is so much fun to see how far we have come.  I am so glad that 2011 went by quickly. Even thought things went our way, it was a huge trial for our family. I really don't care to see DCFS ever again in our lives!

We now have Tim living with us and have joint custody of the boys. Tim finally is DIVORCED! We are so glad for that too. Ron just finished up his pre-school years this past week and Isaiha only has a week left of 1st grade. This past week (the fun week of school) Isaiha decided to get sick and ended up in the hospital with pneumonia.  We are glad that he is home and doing better.  All the boys are in T-ball and loving it. It is quite entertaining. Ron is a ball hog! He will hit the ball and then chase after it. Go figure.

Tim and Desi are doing well. You should see how much they have done to the house to make it nice. It's been fun watching. Her kids are growing up so fast I can hardly believe it.

Derrik still works at Wal Mart and they are out here with us. This is there cute little girl. Yep she looks innocent but LOL.....she is anything but! Meagan has her hands full
Jeddy and Ady are in Colorado. They are doing good. Ady is working 2 jobs. She works hard like her dad.

We have 6 chickens, 3 ducks and at this moment....5 goats. Yes, Jed is looking at taking in 2 more. I think we are turning into a rescue farm. He loves it here and I am so glad. He has always wanted a little farm. Our house is coming along. Kitchen almost done. This past week we ordered carpet. I am so excited. Now bathrooms.
Jed was just put in as the executive secretary in our ward. He missed teaching Gospel Doctrine but is loving his new calling. He still works at the Temple on Saturdays. I am working in the Young Women's. Assistant Camp director and Secretary in the Presidency. I feel so blessed that my Heavenly Father has put me where I love to be. There is just something about serving with the youth that I love. I just hope and pray that I will be able to touch someone for the good. I know that I had my trials for some reason.
