--all about pink--

First week of school was quit interesting. It seems like we never left. Where did the summer go? We trackers (Shane, Doris and I) spent most of the week in the halls helping kids get to class and keeping them out of the halls during class and lunch. The second day of school I witnessed my first fight. Two boys ran up the hall in front of me and jumped another kid just walking down the hall, from the back no less. (tough kids). jk I yelled for help and as usual....hid my eyes so I couldn't see. You know the ....if I can't see, it won't hurt me. Something like that. Thank goodness for the men that came quickly to save us.
I guess last nights football game wasn't the best. Sorry Cyprus 20-0 What happened?

Shane is our new tracker. Very nice guy! We needed a guy who is tough to back us up. He didn't even care that he got a pink desk until we get our new desks. I told him I had some spray paint but he was just fine with what he had.

I told Doris I needed a picture of her for my blog. She said: "Are ya kiddin me". As she quickly turned away

Anyway, this is our office. We have a front window so that everyone that walks by can see us. Ya, kinda like a fish bowl and we are the fish. I think I might go out and buy us some pretty pink curtains, what do you think?
I still have my Wednesdays off. It makes it so nice. I still get to spend a little time with my girls. I sure miss them when I don't see them.

This week Katie and Bella came over for a while and played.

They had fun playing

Then we had to have the girls favorite snack, toast with sprinkles on it.

I am going to have to stock back up on sprinkles. I only had pink left. "I guess I should call this my pink blog today...everything is about pink.

The girls were okay with pink sprinkles. They all like pink.

It will just be when cute little Brigg's wants some with blue sprinkles that I will have to change some colors around.
Is he not the cutest thing. I just love to sit and talk with him. He will smile and talk right back. He has got the most peaceful feeling around him. I can tell that he just left the side of his Heavenly Father.

Tagged Again....

List 3 joys-

My Family, My husband and my car. I would die if I couldn't jump in my car and go.

3 fears-
Losing anyone/anymore of my family, (both Mom and Dad are gone). Not having enough money to make ends meet. Not having my computer. Yikes!

3 obsessions-
blogging, sleeping (bed by 9) and chocolate.

3 surprising facts-
My Brother was knighted by the King of Norway “Sir Pete”.
I was once a spoiled brat. (I know, you would have never guessed).
I have only been married 4 years longer than my 'baby' girl.

(I never realized how boring my life was. That was hard coming up with only 3 or maybe it's because everyone already knows my life story. Nothing would surprise anyone anymore).

Ok who is ready for a tag......Danika, Kelli & Jen or anyone that would like.

Rules: List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 obsessions, 3 surprising facts and tag 3 more people on your blog.

Finally finished.....

So for the last few months...yes months, I have been reading the book "Watch and Be Ready-Preparing for the Second Coming of the Lord". It is one of those books that I didn't know if I really wanted to know, but wanted to know books. It has so much good stuff in it and things that I know I need to work on but, there was one part that I read today that I wanted to share. It reads:

Not long ago, a former student came to see me who had lost his membership as a result of repeated, willful iniquity. He said he waned to straighten out his life. I asked him if he had a testimony, and he said no, he didn't. Surprised, I asked him why he waned to repent and regain his membership if he didn't have a testimony. I will never forget his answer: "I don't know right now that the Church is true, but I know that I once knew, and I know God knows I once knew. The Church didn't change between then and now--I did. And now I want to know again what I knew before, and I am willing to repent to do it." Even where one's endurance has failed before the end, repentance can always bring about a new beginning.

Do you think maybe it was the gift of the Holy Ghost that he was missing?

One who once lived without the Gospel in my life I now recognizes the strength and the blessings of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Not that life is any easier because life still happens but the peaceful feeling of the Holy Ghost is there and comforting. Just like what I read in this months visiting teaching lesson....

President James E. Faust (1920–2007), Second Counselor in the First Presidency: "A conviction that you are a daughter of God gives you a feeling of comfort in your self-worth. It means that you can find strength in the balm of Christ. It will help you meet the heartaches and challenges with faith and serenity" ("What It Means to Be a Daughter of God," Liahona, Jan. 2000, 123; Ensign, Nov. 1999, 102).

Lunch in the Park

This is the last day for lunch in the park. (Free lunch anyways)
Another summer comes to an end. Hard to believe how fast time goes. We have had fun going to the park and movies on Wednesday. It makes me want summer to come again real fast....
